David is the Managing Director of J. E. Sills and Sons Ltd and owns the Company together with his wife, Lorraine.


David joined the business in 1987 after a career with Royal Insurance, which included arranging insurance schemes for some of the UK's largest companies.

A Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, David qualified in 2004 and holds the prestigious title of Chartered Insurance Practitioner. David is a finalist in the Insurance Times 2011 Chartered Professional of the Year Award.

David is an Exam writer and Editor for the Chartered Insurance Institute in London.
